This included multiple trips to the dealership but the dealership had the vehicle for over 3 months and we drove a dealer provided rental as the work was done under warranty. Muffler, pipes, catalytic converter, exhaust manifold, leaks. All failed. For them to continue Ford had to give instructions. Okay from Ford took several days after programming failures to replace control module. Took 5 weeks to get part. Take in for service.

We had been stopped at a light when the Ford Escape in front started moving ahead and I followed. This was just after we had the front sensor replaced at the dealership. All the front sensors worked intermittently. Shocks or struts, ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings, alignment, steering linkage includes rack and pinion , power steering pumps and hoses, leaks , wheel balance, springs or torsion bars, bushings, electronic or air suspension.

Car dealer did a realignment that fixed it. Found loose bolts after 2 visits. After tightening, problem went away. Alternator, starter, hybrid battery and related systems, regular battery, battery cables, engine harness, coil, ignition switch, electronic ignition, distributor or rotor failure, spark plugs and wires failure. Power or manual windows, locks and latches, tailgate, hatch or trunk, doors or sliding doors, mirrors, seat controls, safety belts, sunroof, convertible top. Transmission rebuild or replacement, torque converter, clutch replacement.

Accessory belts and pulleys, engine computer, engine mounts, engine knock or ping, oil leaks. Ford had a recall for some computer glitch which they did for this car, but it did not ultimately solve the issue.

It was not until they replaced some of the engine, that they finally seem to have fixed the car. Time will tell. Radiator, cooling fan, antifreeze leaks, water pump, thermostat, overheating. The clamp was not put on the tubing and the tubing rubbed against the fan belt and the belt put a hole in the tubing and the fluid was continuously leaking out while I was driving.

The car overheated and the engine would start but then the car would not move and it then died. Cruise control, clock, warning lights, body control module, keyless entry, wiper motor or washer, tire pressure monitor, interior or exterior lights, horn, gauges, 12V power plug, remote engine start, alarm or security system.

NO computer codes were logged; all electrical services worked. Hauled to dealer on flat-bed, after arrival and unloading car ignition worked ok. NO computer codes logged. Dealer could do nothing. Paint fading, chalking, cracking, or peeling , loose interior and exterior trim or moldings, rust.

If that matters. And the problem I am about to describe may have an easy solution either I haven't read in the manual or obtained from from making at least two appointments with a certified ford mechanic or obtained from a community of ford owners' blog s after countless hours of searching but sometimes you just want something so simple to work the way you think it should work.

My problem is this - the air-conditioning virtually stops when the vehicle is stopped. Does you stop that much? Is this really a problem? Let me paint you a picture.
